Meeting in high school, we weren't exactly friends... but, ended up being cast in a play where we pretended to be in love. ALEX: "I thought he was goofy." DREW: "I thought she really was in love with me."

We both separately transferred to UTA in our sophomore years of college. Not quite yet friends, but certainly acquaintances...

After a few more years of seeing each other on campus, Drew decided to ask Alex and a couple of friends out to the local bar after rehearsal for a show we were in. Those friends never ended up showing up, so it was just the two of them talking for hours at this bar. And for the first time we became really good friends. We started hanging out every week after rehearsals and in between class.

We can never seem to remember the exact date, but around that fall, Drew asked me out on a proper date. I was terrrified it would be awkward, but instead it turned out to be the most fun night I had ever had. That first date turned into months of running around downtown Grapevine to see christmas lights, going to shows, to drive-in movies, walking around downtown and talking for hours. We spent every single weekend going on adventures together. And I finally realized "okay it's not so bad if he's my boyfriend"

In June 2022 we moved in together. ALEX: "Drew learned what it was like to have siblings for the first time ever, as my sister moved in with us! That was fun... " DREW: "It was not fun, but I love living with Alex"

We have shared many birthdays, trips, dinner parties, crappy apartments, and funny memories together. We've come along way from being 15 years old and thinking the other was weird. We still think we are both weird. But now we tolerate it a lot more easily.

After 4 years of dating Drew proposed! And we are both so excited to start our own family and life together
